You!
So our visit with the financial adviser was interesting. And insightful. I realized that 1. We are young 2. We are not in nearly as much debt as I thought 3. I forgot what 3 was.. oh, our financial adviser isn't a money snob. He didn't laugh at us because we were coming to the table with less than a million bucks to invest. It was nice. So he basically just took all our information and copies of our bills and stuff. He kind of interviewed us, asking how much we were willing to be risky, what we wanted to do when we retired, how much college did we plan on paying for the kids, etc. He also took down what we spend each month. He said we should have no problem meeting goals and we should have plenty of surplus income to use. He also said we were the first people he has seen in a long time who had a vacation account- basically, I also put money into our vacation account and we vacation out of it. No money, no vacation. It's revolving, I always pay into it. It's not EXACTLY what he has in mind, but it shows we think about vacations and plan for them. So I am super optimistic that he can get us on the right track.

Then we went out for pizza (just Ray and I!) and ate good pizza and saw the funniest movie since Office Space- Tropic Thunder. OMG. That movie was fucking hilarious. I am buying it. It's SO RARE to find a non romantic comedy that isn't filled with gratuitous boob shots that is also really funny. It was really funny. Did I say that?

Poor Ariel was a WRECK when I left her. She was fine all day, fine when I picked up Kat. Turned into a basket case the minute we got home and had to leave. She clung to my leg, wouldn't let go and then chased me out to the car. *sigh* Kat said she got better, though and was fine. They ordered pizza and watched a movie.
